Haiku P08816-P00154 hand-painted on wood with milkA study in balance and restraint, Haiku is part of the JeanElton portfolio of ceramic TallVases, where simplicity meets depth in a refined interplay of contrast and movement. The bold black surface, interrupted only by three fluid white lines, evokes the quiet precision of a well crafted verseeach stroke intentional, each space deliberate. The surface treatment is a meditation in form, where negative space is just as powerful as the painted elements.
