Fall 1991 “Lite Brite” Wool Gabardine Skirt Suit todd oldham Panel size: 26” x 40”A Fall 1991 Lite Brite skirt suit, rendered in a densely patterned wool gabardine that reads as a field of prismatic color from a distance and reveals a precise, almost pointillist structure up close. Inspired by the 1960s Lite Brite toy, the suit is embellished with thousands of anodized aluminum studs across the exterior, creating a vivid, light reactive surface. The look was notably worn by Susan Sarandon on Late Night with David Letterman,
