A Royal Artillery Sweetheart Badge, C.1916 Auction on loop for suspension -Three piece construction, hand engraved insignia in sterling silver, mounted to a reddish brown shell disk, held in place within a sterling silver frame, maker marked "Ws Ld" and marked "STERLING" on the reverse, measuring 27 mm in diameter, sterling silver backer with horizontal pinback, very light contact, near extremely fine.
