Footnote: Badge is unmarked, but has a distinctive die flaw of the bow of the U Boat and is sometimes referred to as Unknown maker (1), variation (2) based on the appearance of the eagle and set up on reverse, likely maker of this badge is C. E. Juncker Berlin; see page 58, Weber
