Wichita Witches - Kansas - Vintage Defunct Baseball Teams - Long Sleeve T-Shirt rochester with burnt sienna cursive readingWichita's Witches took the field in 1912 as part of the Western League, bringing minor league baseball to the Kansas plains. In an era when small city teams were the backbone of the sport, clubs like these gave towns their identity and their summers a pulse. Wichita didn't just watch baseball, they lived it.
