Cote de Fonroque St.-Emilion Grand Cru AOC 2016 vin-de-pays-du-val-de-loire The Even Keel Pinot NoirChteau Fonroque is the Saint Emilion cradle of the Moueix family, acquired by Jean and Adle, great grandparents of Alain Moueix, operator of this beautiful wine property. Second son of a family of small farmers from Haute Corrze, Jean Moueix "moved" to Paris in the 1920s, where he successively opened with his wife Adle, one, then several dairy products businesses. A few years later, they bought Chteau Fonroque where they settled permanently. The
