This is a white Burgundy made from 100% Chardonnay grown in Mercurey

Perhaps a little less funky than previous years - more juicy fruit driven - yet still plenty of 'solids' action for fans of the style

There is also plenty of fine powdery tannins and terrific length

Each of the 9 botanicals (most notably chamomile and gentian) are macerated separately then combined and added to the sherry
