Vintage Interview Magazine "Don Johnson" Cover September 1986 Issue book The shop opened in 1992Interview was a magazine founded by Andy Warhol in 1969, shortly after the attempt on his life by Valeria Solanas. Initially headquartered at The Factory, Warhol said of the magazine "I felt there was a need for an easygoing, conversational magazine." Over time, Warhol gradually withdrew from the everyday duties of the magazine, and it remains in publication to this day.
