The oval, hand blown vase made of high quality crystal glass is surrounded by a network of gold plated glass overlays. The glass overlays are applied to the glowing glass in a viscous form. After the vases have cooled and been ground, they are hand finished with 24 carat gold, which is burned into the glass surface at 560C. A special seal preserves the shine of the precious
