Die Nachtkerze ist eine Zierpflanze und wurde Mitte des 17. Jahrhunderts in Europa eingefhrt. Die bis zu 2 Meter hohe Pflanze trgt im Sommer goldgelbe, s duftende Blten, die sich erst spt am Abend ffnen. Das Nachtkerzenl wird aus den Samen der Nachtkerze gewonnen und ist reich an Linolsure (Omega 6) und Gamma Linolensure (Omega 3). Saint
