展覧会では、作者が約30年にわたりいかに若者を魅了し、彼らの原動力となってきたかを強調している。自身の写真との対話の中で、作者は自分の世界を発展させ続けてきた重要なインスピレーションの源となっている作品をいくつか選んだ。作者の制作における実践の概説として展覧会と本書は、その視覚言語の進化と同時に、長年「ラフ シモンズ」のヴィジュアルを共に作り続けてきたスタイリストのオリヴィエ・リッゾ（Olivier Rizzo）やラフ・シモンズ（Raf Simons）とのコラボレーションの日々を探っていく。
