Old Map of India and East Asia, 1593 by de Jode - China, Nepal, Laos, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Malaysia Size:47x70in (120x178cm) The original name for thisA superb and extremely rare of Eastern Asia, published by 16th century Dutch master Gerard de Jode in 1593. The map may look woefully inaccurate by modern standards, but in Europe in the 16th century, this was by far the finest map of Asia at the time. This map extends roughly from China and Philippines in the east to India and Mongolia in the east. This map looks great at all sizes: 12x16 inches (31x41cm), 18x24 inches (45. 5x61cm) and 24x36 inches
