Western & Eastern Hemispheres (World) - World/Oceans with some interesting notationsA handsome set of maps showing us the world as it was known in the middle of the 19th century. The continents are mostly grasped, scads of islands are identified as they dot the oceans, and the poles are treated sparingly with only a few patches of coast shown around the south pole. Hand colored to distinguish national borders, this map is beautiful framed, and a useful reference. Condition is very good. Image size for both sheets is 15 x 14 (inches)
