ウィーンを拠点に活動する双子のアーティストによる本。様々な背景を持つ人々とのコラボレーションプロジェクトで知られている。CCAで行った若手アーティストとのプロジェクトの記録をベースに本にまとめた。写真やドローイング、和紙や特殊な紙を巧みに組み合わせ、ページをめくるたびに美しい表情を見せる作品となっている。

自然の中で、同じ服・髪型などの制約されたシルエットで集団性が持ちうる個性にも似た表情の豊かさを探求してきたAssemblyシリーズ。本書では、広大な雪景色の中で、あざやかな衣装を纏った集団の幻想的な表情を描き出しています。2016年に初版が刊行され、長らく入手不可となっていた本作「Assembly snow」の第2刷。

限定版として販売される『Crafted World: Jonathan Anderson’s LOEWE』はカスタムメイドのボックス入りで、角の部分には銅製のロエベアナグラムが重なりあうようにあしらわれている。
