Girl Leaning Black & White Both paintings portray Claire Stafford
Description
Both paintings portray Claire Stafford and therein lies a story
A miraculous journey and tantalising to think whose hands these have been through
coloured pencil
but a fabulous decorative portrait of the 1930s that would perfect any interior of the period
Unkind words such as ‘dirgy’ and ‘depressing’ are bandied about and there is general agreement that this is a ‘Matthew’ picture
